Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must be at least 18 years of age to receive a tattoo or piercing.

  • Clients must provide accurate and complete information about their medical history, allergies, medications, and any other relevant information that may affect the procedure or aftercare.

  • Clients are responsible for following the artist's instructions for proper aftercare and maintaining the cleanliness of the tattooed & pierced area to promote healing.

  • Tattoo Design and Placement:

    • Clients may provide reference materials or discuss their desired tattoo design with the artist. However, the final design is subject to the artist's creative interpretation and adjustments.

    • The client must approve the final design and placement before the tattooing process begins.

    • The tattoo artist reserves the right to refuse any design or placement that they deem inappropriate, offensive, or likely to cause harm to the client.

  • Health and Safety:

    • The studio adheres to strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.

    • Clients must disclose any existing medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities that may impact their ability to receive a tattoo & Piercing safely.

    • The artist reserves the right to refuse service if there are health concerns that may pose a risk to the client or compromise the quality of the outcome.

  • Tattoo Process and Results:

    • The tattoo artist will use their best efforts to provide a satisfactory result based on the agreed design and placement.

    • The client acknowledges that the tattoo's final appearance may vary from any drawings, stencils, or references provided due to factors such as skin type, color, texture, and the healing process.

    • The tattoo artist is not responsible for any dissatisfaction resulting from changes in the tattoo's appearance due to improper aftercare or factors beyond their control.

  • Pricing and Payment:

    • Pricing for tattoo services will be discussed and agreed upon before the appointment. Additional charges may apply for custom designs, larger tattoos, or extensive modifications.

    • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the appointment, which will be deducted from the final payment.

    • Payment is due in full at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment may include cash, credit/debit cards, or other agreed-upon methods.

  • Liability and Release:

    • The client acknowledges that tattooing & piercing involves certain risks and complications, including pain, discomfort, allergic reactions, infection, scarring, and the need for touch-ups.

    • The client releases the artist, employees, and associated individuals or entities from any claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to the tattoo procedure, except for cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • Photography and Promotion:

    • The client grants permission to Maison Mono to take photographs or videos of the tattoo for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes while maintaining confidentiality regarding any personal information.

  • Governing Law:

    • These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of  New York.

    • In the event of any legal dispute, the exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall be the court located.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

  • Cancellation

​

Clients may cancel their appointment or service by providing a minimum of 48 Hours notice before the scheduled appointment.

​

To cancel an appointment, clients must contact Maison Mono by phone or by email at Appointment@maisonmono.art

Failure to provide the required notice may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of a deposit, depending on the circumstances.

  • Refunds

​

Refunds may be provided under the following conditions:

​

  1. Cancellations made within the specified cancellation notice period will be eligible for a full refund of any prepaid amounts or deposits.

  2. If a client cancels without providing the required notice, a cancellation fee or partial refund may be deducted from any prepaid amounts or deposits.

  3. In the event that artists are unable to fulfill the scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond our control, a full refund will be provided to the client.

  4. Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment originally used by the client unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Non-Refundable Items

​

The following items/services may be non-refundable:

a. Any services that have already been provided or completed.

b. Custom designs or artwork created specifically for the client.

c. Any consumable or personalized items that cannot be resold or reused.

  • Processing Time

​

Refunds will be processed within 5 business days from the date of cancellation or the determination that a refund is applicable.

The time it takes for the refund to be reflected in the client's account may vary depending on the client's financial institution.

  • Disputes

​

In the event of any dispute regarding cancellations or refunds, Maison Mono will make every effort to resolve the issue in a fair and satisfactory manner.

​

If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties may consider mediation or arbitration as a means of dispute resolution.
